Nitro Core is Standard Chartered’s production design system. SC Design owns the Figma file, the tokens, and the published packages. Product teams install them. They do not rebuild them.

Design lives in the SCDC Figma file. Code ships as versioned @nitro-core/ui and @nitro-core/tokens. This Portal is documentation only.

Product apps
Import, don’t fork
Install the packages. Ask AI to import Button, Toast, Input, BottomBar, Header, DatePicker, Color, Space, Icon, HeroIcon, QuickLinks, ServicesScreen.
Ask SC Design when you need
- A new component, variant, or token
- A change to an existing Figma spec
- A package release after a design update
Do not do this in a product app
- Rebuild Button, Input, Toast, BottomBar, or DatePicker
- Fetch live Figma from production
- Publish a fork of @nitro-core/ui
